1. YouTube Terms of Service
Have a Comment uses YouTube API Services. By using Have a Comment you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Our privacy policy explains how we handle data, together with the Google Privacy Policy.
2. The service
Have a Comment offers free tools to search, export, highlight and draw winners from the public comments of YouTube videos. It is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by YouTube or Google. We may change, limit or stop the tools at any time, for example when the daily YouTube API quota runs out.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the tools for your own videos or for ordinary viewing and research of public videos.
- Do not use them to harass, track or profile people, or to collect contact details.
- Do not automate requests, scrape our API, or try to get around rate limits.
- Respect the people who wrote the comments. Exported comments remain their words; delete exports you no longer need.
4. Giveaways
If you use the comment picker for a giveaway or contest, you are the organiser and you alone are responsible for it: the rules, eligibility, prizes, delivery and compliance with the law and with YouTube’s contest policies. Have a Comment does not sponsor or run any giveaway. We provide a transparent random draw and a proof link, but we do not guarantee that a draw meets the rules of any particular promotion.
5. No warranty and liability
The tools are provided free and “as is”, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from their use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
